The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive requires Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) and Display Energy Certificates (DEC’s) to be available on all buildings, excluding certain specific types, when newly built, sold or let to tenants. For domestic properties in England and Wales, an EPC must be available to meet the legislative requirements EPC’s are to be available for properties in certain specific circumstances such as when newly built, when sold or let to a tenant.

Countrywide Surveyors is committed to Energy Assessor qualification and accreditation through the delivery of training, ongoing professional development and lifelong learning. Delivery of this to our Energy Assessors also meets the Accreditation Scheme requirements for Continuing Professional Development.
All of our Energy Assessors have a base office where a range of support is provided from interaction with other surveyors and Energy Assessors and general administration through to the exchange of information on technical matters and issues such as current market conditions.
